Rea-Liina Brunou is a Helsinki based dance artist, graduated from Theatre Academy Helsinki, Master of Arts (Dance) 2009. Since graduation, she has been working as a dancer and a choreographer in several productions in Finland. In her latest work Pedestrian Ballet (2016), she introduced a new way of creating dance in a somatic way, and explored the particular similarities between Romantic ballet and contemporary dance.  She also makes solo performances, video installations, music videos and collaborations with people from different fields of art. In addition, she runs a small gallery space in Kolari, Lapland
